My name is Malka Arnstein, M.S., CCC-SLP, CAS (pronounced Maal-Ku “u” as in “up”), a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), wife, mom, booklover, and communication enthusiast. I believe that communication is the heart of our world, and I’m dedicated to helping others thrive through communication.
My AAC journey began in 2010 working with individuals with complex communication needs in the South Bronx. My journey led me on the path as an SLP and Assistive Technology Specialist in New York City, Connecticut, and Florida, servicing in both schools and outpatient centers.
Throughout my career, I’ve met many people struggling with the AAC process and choosing the right device. I’ve noticed that the joy of communication often gets lost in these challenges. To me, communication is more than just words; it’s a soulful connection that defines our humanity and enriches our lives.
